My beloved and selfless sister Ronda worked diligently on the Clinton presidential campaign of 1992. She infected our family with her convictions and passions. I received VIP tickets from her to see Clinton speak repeatedly throughout the year. THis photo was taken at Cobo Hall leading up to the election. He owned the crowd, eloquently envoking the spirit of 1960’s civil rights leaders while quoting a Robert Kennedy speech from 1967.

In this photo, he whispers in civil rights icon Rosa Parks’ ear, while Democratic leaders look on.
