S2dio Night Wine Social: January 2006

S2dio Night was an intimate affair for January with downbeat music and lots of wine
to socially lubricate the evening. Gary Bredow of GLU Studios and Jason Huveare’s
camp came down to enjoy a bottle or two after strategic planning at the Masonic
Temple with Detroit By Design, preparing for the highly anticipated Detroit Premiere
of High Tech Soul. Dr. Ron and Media Rica provided the audio/visual entertainment,
Camilo Pardo celebrated a birthday, and fashion companies kept the wine flowing.

Stylize: DAM Opening w/ Clear Magazine

Meghann and I had the pleasure of attending the Stylize Designer’s Show at
the Detroit Artist Market (DAM). The Creative Black Tie function curated by
Executive Director Mary Harrison included the above attendees. Dr. Ron,
Shevy, Raquelle, Sarah Lapinski, Davn Brainard, Tovah, Daniel Frederick,
Chris Turner, Mary Beckerman, Dozier and the Clear Magazine crew.

2006 Auto Show: Black Tie Charity Preview

A Champagne social with Meghann Marken, future House Representative Lee Gaddies
and Hour Detroit Fashion Editor Susan Howes. The event was followed by a WDIV
after-party with Vegas showgirls.

9th Annual Designers Night: Bankle Building

Detroit By Design has the pleasure of enjoying its second year at the Bankle Building
to appreciate the 9th Annual Designer’s Night. One of the many signature events
at Camilo Pardo’s Bankle Building that lends a celebrity status to the artist and
building and has created parties that one might think could only be urban legend.
