Superbadass Designs Segment for Last Orbit Party

Jerry Peterson aka Jerry Vile aka raunchy, smart-ass artists/publisher has been producing many of Detroit’s best parties for over a decade. The “Last Orbit Party” showcased over 50 performers and musicians utilizing Steve’s Place, St. Andrews, The Shelter and Jacobys. Superbadass Productions (SBA) was given the 11:30pm-1:00am time slot at St. Andrews Hall.

Camilo Pardo, Liquid Silver, Chuck Hughes of Ebeling Hughes and Infinite Dimensions participated in the segment. SBA friends Craig Breil and Melissa Beck joined Director Rich Rice for the event.

Detroit By Design, formerly known as Superbadass Productions, was very fortunate to provide a showcase for street artists during an amazing period of creative development in Ann Arbor. After the underground venues the Elephanthaus, The Lab and The Green Room closed, there was a period without a proper showcase for non-commercial music and performance. SBA produced this annual off-beat multimedia showcase to raise funds for Ann Arbor’s free form public radio station, WCBN 88.3 Ann Arbor.
