The 2005 Skateboard Art & Culture Show

Detroit By Design’s first large scale gallery event was an internationally supported Skateboard Art and Culture Show. This event brought together NYC Paper Magazine Editor Carlo McCormick w/ DIA Photography Curator Nancy Barr, Celebrity skateboarder BiIl Danforth and Vancouver, Canada skate company Skull Skates, Slap Magazine from LA, Stuck Mag from Colombus, Detroit Street Culture Fashion Designer’s Sarah Lurtz and Sarah Lapinski of Wound, new media mixologist Councilman Dr. Ron Suarez of Media Rica, and the Woodbridge Summerfest People Mover Productions DJs.
